After some careful consideration, I have decided to run the Philly Half 20 November. After the full 30 October, I just want to run this one for “fun” as it’s a home race and the big one in my home city.
Not going to overkill myself on this one, just complete the race and enjoy this one as a feel-good at the end of the year. Probably expect to spend the immediate week following MCM on rest and then maybe do crosstraining and short runs to keep myself in shape. Will have a 6M run somewhere in there prior to the Philly Half.
Besides, it’ll be another opportunity to connect with the local runners. And who’s going to complain about that?
